He began his work in cinema by beginning to work as a montage in a studio in Egypt and them moved to cinematic directing in 1945.
He directed the film Dayman fi Qalbi amd directed a lot of films adapted from stories written by famous Arab writers like Najeeb Mahfouz, Ehsan Abd Al Qadous and Yousif Al Saba’i.
