An Egyptian actress and journalist who rose to fame after starring in the play Beit al Domya.
She began her professional life as a secretary at the Polish Embassy in Cairo.
She then moved on to journalism and worked as a reporter for Rozouz al Yousef.
She entered the acting world by taking part in national plays.
She has starred in more than 12 movies such as: Amr wa Jamila, al Sharida, Bint al Sheikh, Bein Narein, al Madi al Majhoul, Marat al Ayam, and E’tirafat Zawja.
She has produced the movie A’dat Ila Qawa’idoha and then left acting in 1955.
In 1985, the Egyptian government honored her for her work over the years.
